Round 27 Team Lists Late Mail: Manu hamstrung, long list of stars resting, Papa's year over, Ponga races clock for finals
Wait, don’t you mean the dragons should rest Ben Hunt? There is no point risking Hunt for a meaningless game of no importance. Save him so he is fresh for his new club in 2024
Round 27 Team Lists Late Mail: Manu hamstrung, long list of stars resting, Papa's year over, Ponga races clock for finals
He has been playing 6 in reggie’s so normally I’d say I hope that helps his defence, but they are only playing the dragons.
Shoulder injury a downer after perfect Ponga delivers eighth win on the trot to lift Knights past Sharks into fifth spot
Very true about their composure. I’m stoked we are somehow in the position to rest blokes like KP and JH. Normally teams do that to us. Playing the semi at home will be a big advantage…for a week.
Im sure BHunt isn’t counting down the seconds till he can finally bail on Saints and play for a much better club with a stronger board and recent success. Like the tigers.
Shoulder injury a downer after perfect Ponga delivers eighth win on the trot to lift Knights past Sharks into fifth spot
It was a sensational first half, Bonza. A cracking match. I sure hope the knights avoid the Sharks from here cause when Nicho comes back, they are scary. Sharks should slap the Raiders by 40 this weekend.

Sick win, Nunnsy. The sharks seriously worry me and for the first half they gave the knights a real whack. If one of the Sharkies grounds the ball on the, well, ground and not his own face and they are in front and firing.
Jackson and Kayln can have the weekend off. Great to see Lachie get the call up to belt the dragons. Might be his last game in the jersey and he was quality despite a short stint (see: Dynevor, Leo; 1997)

Seriously? He’s fine. Let him play and he and Latrell can pull each other’s hair and go for the hardest nip tweak.
Carnage! Roosters set up Souths showdown but lose Manu and likely Jared after another brain explosion
My parents told me when I was a 17 that I needed to get a damn job when I finish school otherwise Id be a no good, lousy, lazy layabout with no goals in life. I did get a job and still managed to achieve all those other things.
NRL week 26 preview talking points: CNK gets lucky, it’s miracle time for Eels and do you really like what you do for a living?
Mitchell Marsh can bat on his own or make it that every run he scores counts as two.
“Mitch Marsh launches that high into the crowd. Thats even bigger than the last 12 he hit”
None of the obvious contenders to replace Dave Warner stand out. So why not try a left field solution?
As always thanks Jimmmy. Its about time we see a Cows – Knights grand final. It will be a charge from the bottom 8 the likes we havent seen since the Cows made their last grand final

Well Hook is a bit of a toss, so he gets that one too

Phil, I cant keep apologising to AOB for demanding his head. Repeatedly. Over several seasons. And questioned his personal hygiene. Also repeatedly.
Confidence is everything it’s cracked up to be in footy.

I was there today Renegade an Ill meet you there next weekend. It will be sold out again by Tuesday.
I have been bagging Clune since we signed him but I was stoked for him today. He had a really solid game and did his job well.
Campbell Graham must be injured cause that wasnt his usual defensive effort.

So Murphy and Maxwell to open? We would either be 2 – 0 after 2 overs or 0 – 350 by lunch

I havent lived in Tuggies for nearly 20 years and I still remember All Bar Nun. Sick place, bro.
Round 25 Team Lists Late Mail: Wighton out, Papi in line for return, Reynolds suffers setback, Hastings doubt
England just too good and took their chances. Lets all just hope that Spain flogs them in the Final.

Don, you have always been so vocal in praising the excellent stewardship of PC. I feel the PC will draw NSW and WA closer together like never before. PC is the future
Cummins is proving a successful captain - but how is the job affecting his own stats and those of his teammates?

JH is healthy! Hallelujah!
ANALYSIS: Knights hand downward Dogs another pasting but Hastings' season looks over after hip-drop tackle deja vu
I think I saw it, you wont believe it, in a rugby 7s carnival 15 years ago. The gun players used that technique to effectively use their own weight to pull down the attacker, slingshot in front of them to be in a position to ruck for the ball. There wasnt much leg contact from what I recall but it would just be a minor technique for these blokes to change to reduce the risk of injury.

Can Kikau save his Kiks for another player? The rise of the Phoenix from his own ashes is a vastly overrated and overquoted myth.

It’s definitely 10000% a shoulder charge except that it doesn’t quite meet the requirements of being a shoulder charge. We just need a few more like it where some players cop some more shoulder injuries, we see NRL knee jerk (which they NEVER get sent to the judiciary for despite their long history of this) then a crackdown.
