Yes that was great!
The Wrap: Magical World Cup moments and memories that left an indelible mark, and the promise of so much more
The high school in Perth that he went to had to put a padlock and chain around the gym door to keep him out. Then there’s the famous Oktoberfest gig in Perth. He asked JOC how many 1l steins he could grab. 6 was the reply. Then asked Matt Giteau the same question, same answer. “Show me fellas”, then David picked them both up and said 12 for me!

I had a friend many years ago who played no 8 for a South African university team. Sorry but can’t remember which one. Anyway he had a terrible fear of flying. The smaller the plane the worse it was. Anyway he decided to ask her dad for permission to marry his daughter, unfortunately it involved a small plane. So he bought a bottle of Tullamore Dew with the idea of a few sips to calm the nerves. Well the bottle was empty on arrival and when the door opened this rather large specimen of South African manhood missed the top step and fell quite heavily to the tarmac. When he came to there was the future father in law staring at him, so picking the moment perfectly he asked him if he could marry his daughter without getting up! Well they are still married!! It must have been 40 years ago at least!

A rare skill OM!

Gees Geoffrey that’s a tough question. Brighton, the 1995 tournament for many reasons, France being the All Blacks kryptonite more often than not, Bob Dwyer shouting “kick it to the shi+ house!” sitting behind the Queen, yeah lots of good memories!

Vale old mate. Off to a better place. As some of you may know I spent a year in Zimbabwe many years ago. One of my best friends kept to him AND his dad in the same innings. It’s a truly sad loss, but it awaits us all one at a time. Feeling rather sad for Nadine and the kids.

I still remember Andre Watson handing him his whistle with a few choice remarks! Great player though!!
Greatest XV: 'Like reffing in a train station': Sublime skills and scathing sledges sum up Australia's top No.9
Well the word “legend” gets thrown around a lot, but not for describing John Eales.
Greatest XV: John Eales' World Cup journey from clumsy No.8 to Australian rugby's most iconic moment
Thanks John. All fluff and bubbles if your forwards are going forward! The best 10s can still perform in adverse conditions. Give us six weeks or so and we will know more.
Top 10 playmakers at Rugby World Cup - and why the Wallabies' young gun has the game's toughest gig
Ok mate thanks again for filling me in!

Go for the line man!
Greatest XV: 'Everyone yelled Owen Finegan! World Champion! And I drank out of the Cup'
Brett…one of the legacy issues with the Wallabies jersey is that I believe Canterbury registered Wallaby Gold as a colour. This gave us the pale lemon, etc until recently. The issue is that RA, or the ARU as it was known then didn’t register it.

Cheers! First article? Well mate I hope you are right. Frankly I don’t know!
The three Wallabies factors which can align to win the World Cup
Pretty much a couple of guys all having a flap of the gums here. No more NRL players!!
RWC News: 'Cool to try it out' - Nathan Cleary 'excited' by code switch, France rocked by another big name injury
Yep but started as a winger.
Enjoy the opportunity, debutants – I’m not sure how many more there will be as Wallabies enter must-win mode
Yes Harry it will be interesting to see how things pan out. Wallabies or wobblies? We will know soon enough.
World Cup Top 10 Power Rankings: Wallabies' missing piece, ABs still possess super power, and why France edge Ireland
Yep he’s a decent player. Started as a winger.

Cheers Brett. Not much to add. Excellent read!

Wine women and song!
Wallabies player ratings: Taniela explosive, Marky Mark dynamite - but lineout and midfield fail to ignite
Yeah I know. Either it’s 100% pure bulls#!+ or he’s a bloody genius. I am sure the talk/emails from head office are mounting. It’s hardly a good value on investment so far!
'Big difference': Hansen takes sly dig at Aussie Super teams after Wallabies visit, will share camp intel with Foz
Winter is over here. Last few days 30 plus. Backed a cracker at the races on Sunday. Paid $8.50 for the win!

Yeah. Very puzzled by Eddie’s gig. Might be genius, might be total merde.
