The Europa league is a billion dollar European football tournament that is rewarding lavishly the 17th best team in Europe.
That must really get that vein of yours bursting.
Bronze medal playoff matches in the Olympics must get you pretty grumpy too.
Frankly none of these teams should be playing for any trophy. If it’s not the AFL premiership cup on the last Saturday of September, what’s the point?!
That local footy 'every team plays finals' drama is an absolute farce - but not for the reason everyone thinks
What is hilarious is how worked up you and others are about it?
Some meaningless junior comp in a sport you don’t even follow in a state you don’t live in has got you all on the “this is woke BS” bandwagon.
Why does it impact you and others so much?
Are your lives really that empty, this is what you need to fill it?

Said by the what…secret AFL star?

Gee, those rugby sevens competitions where teams play for trophies, plates, cups, shields etc etc must really drive you nuts, Peter.

So, none then?
I’ll rephrase: how many human rights, as per the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights have been breached, or at the very minimum would warrant investigation by the Australian Human Rights Commission as per the Act that was passed in 1986?
I’ll answer: None.
That’s before we dip into your concerning understanding of contract law and the workplace.
The relentless push for 'professionalism' is putting AFL players at risk
Man, the NRL are lucky that the Sharks own their own home ground.
Because if I were running the NSW government, I would have forcibly locked Shark Park and made them play at the $800m state of the art stadium that the NRL were begging for…

However, no amount of money can compensate for a breach of your basic human rights and safety,

Willie Mason – a employee of the club – has said Ciraldo is looking to weed out the roster, TB
NRL News: Ciraldo not sorry over wrestling punishment, Hodgson quits, Raider blasts 'outrageous' fines
1. Nonsense
2. Even if true, it’s clearly ineffective then. Australia’s most decorated soldier is also Australia’s biggest war criminal.
NRL News: Ciraldo not sorry over wrestling punishment, Hodgson quits, Raider blasts 'outrageous' fines
Nah, they don’t. That’s absolute fiction
6-7 years ago I used to watch a lot of the Roosters training sessions at Moore Park when I was living around that neighbourhood.
Robinson is not putting anywhere near that type of volume in on wrestling technique. Granted it was 6 years ago, but I can’t see why that would change.
You are saying that they would be spending 75% of their training time on wrestling technique and not actual game play.
Happy to chat with you, but not if you are just pulling out furphies.
NRL News: Ciraldo not sorry over wrestling punishment, Hodgson quits, Raider blasts 'outrageous' fines
No, the player in question needs to harden up.
Says a man who would get beaten to a pulp after the first wrestle…fancy you doing 12 in a row?
Don’t preach what you can’t practice, Brett.

Brett, TB
Never said they don’t do wrestling training. I just dispute the “hours every week bit”.

Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it wrong either.
That’s the best response you have got?
It’s not the 70’s anymore, Brett. Players actually don’t spend hours in the sandpit wrestling. Coaching staff – responsible and successful ones – limit sub-concussive activities in training.
And coaches don’t get punished for making a mistake.
What a perverse distortion of truth.
NRL News: Ciraldo not sorry over wrestling punishment, Hodgson quits, Raider blasts 'outrageous' fines
Yup.
Just like how there is no other way to get orange juice other than squeezing it hard against your forehead.
NRL News: Ciraldo not sorry over wrestling punishment, Hodgson quits, Raider blasts 'outrageous' fines
1. Are they?
2. As GH astutely points out, it’s almost certain the coaches don’t punish themselves the same way when they transgress. It’s abysmal leadership
3. Just because it is “normal” doesn’t make it right.
And considering the Bulldogs sit in the bottom three of the ladder, I’d argue that their methods are fundamentally flawed.

Best way to preserve your reputation as a coach is to not coach for a Phil Gould managed club.
NRL News: Ciraldo not sorry over wrestling punishment, Hodgson quits, Raider blasts 'outrageous' fines
I wouldn’t be playing for a coach who thinks violence is the solution to behavioural change.
This isn’t Jack Nicholson ordering a code red on Private Santiago.

His personal liabilities are irrelevant, Brett.
It’s his choice to have a mortgage of that price. It’s his choice to (presumably) be driving a nice car with an expensive lease.
It’s also his choice to be grubby on the field.
I don’t think he’s overpaid, nor do I think he’s underworked. But he is ill disciplined and we have rules.
NRL News: Ciraldo not sorry over wrestling punishment, Hodgson quits, Raider blasts 'outrageous' fines
Judging by the fact you aren’t playing AFL footy, I’m going to guess you lost and lost a lot.
Under YOUR parameters, “Loser” I think is the appropriate term for you
