The Europa league is a billion dollar European football tournament that is rewarding lavishly the 17th best team in Europe.

That must really get that vein of yours bursting.

Bronze medal playoff matches in the Olympics must get you pretty grumpy too.

Frankly none of these teams should be playing for any trophy. If it’s not the AFL premiership cup on the last Saturday of September, what’s the point?!

Some meaningless junior comp in a sport you don’t even follow in a state you don’t live in has got you all on the “this is woke BS” bandwagon.

Why does it impact you and others so much?

I’ll rephrase: how many human rights, as per the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights have been breached, or at the very minimum would warrant investigation by the Australian Human Rights Commission as per the Act that was passed in 1986?

Man, the NRL are lucky that the Sharks own their own home ground.

Because if I were running the NSW government, I would have forcibly locked Shark Park and made them play at the $800m state of the art stadium that the NRL were begging for…

6-7 years ago I used to watch a lot of the Roosters training sessions at Moore Park when I was living around that neighbourhood.

Robinson is not putting anywhere near that type of volume in on wrestling technique. Granted it was 6 years ago, but I can’t see why that would change.

You are saying that they would be spending 75% of their training time on wrestling technique and not actual game play.

Happy to chat with you, but not if you are just pulling out furphies.

It’s not the 70’s anymore, Brett. Players actually don’t spend hours in the sandpit wrestling. Coaching staff – responsible and successful ones – limit sub-concussive activities in training.

And coaches don’t get punished for making a mistake.

2. As GH astutely points out, it’s almost certain the coaches don’t punish themselves the same way when they transgress. It’s abysmal leadership
3. Just because it is “normal” doesn’t make it right.

And considering the Bulldogs sit in the bottom three of the ladder, I’d argue that their methods are fundamentally flawed.

His personal liabilities are irrelevant, Brett.

It’s his choice to have a mortgage of that price. It’s his choice to (presumably) be driving a nice car with an expensive lease.

It’s also his choice to be grubby on the field.

I don’t think he’s overpaid, nor do I think he’s underworked. But he is ill disciplined and we have rules.
