2021 AFL free agency and trade period: Complete list of all trades and free agency moves

The AFL free agency and trade period has been completed.

Draft picks can still be swapped up until the 2021 AFL draft on November 24, but all player exchanges have taken place.

AFL Trades 2021

Mabior Chol signed with the Gold Coast Suns as an unrestricted free agent. Richmond will receive an end of second-round draft pick (currently 38) as compensation.

Jake Kelly signed with Essendon as an unrestricted free agent. Adelaide will receive a third-round draft pick (currently 42) as compensation.

George Hewett signed with Carlton as a restricted free agent. Sydney will receive an end of second-round draft pick (currently 39) as compensation.

The Gold Coast Suns traded picks 22, 46, 58, 79 and their 2022 fourth-round pick to Collingwood, in exchange for 2022 second-, third- and fourth-round picks.

The Geelong Cats traded Nathan Kreuger and pick 55 to Collingwood, in exchange for pick 41.

The GWS Giants traded Jeremy Finlayson to Port Adelaide, in exchange for a 2022 third-round pick.

The Adelaide Crows, Melbourne, St Kilda and Western Bulldogs completed a four-way pick swap. The Crows received picks 33, 75 and Melbourne’s 2022 first-round pick. The Demons received picks 17, 37 and 49. The Saints received picks 62, 66 and Adelaide’s 2022 fourth-round pick. The Bulldogs received picks 23, 44 and 45.

The Gold Coast Suns traded Will Brodie, alongside picks 19, 61 and 69, to Fremantle, in exchange for 2022 second- and fourth-round picks.

Collingwood traded pick 22 to Fremantle, in exchange for pick 27 and a 2022 third-round pick.

Fremantle traded Adam Cerra to Carlton, in exchange for pick six and a 2022 third-round pick.

Carlton traded Sam Petrevski-Seton to the West Coast Eagles in a three-way deal involving the Western Bulldogs. The Blues received Lewis Young from the Bulldogs, who traded pick 52 to the Eagles.

Tim O’Brien signed with the Western Bulldogs as an unrestricted free agent.

North Melbourne traded Robbie Tarrant, alongside pick 40 and a 2022 second-round pick, to Richmond, in exchange for Callum Coleman-Jones, picks 42, 47 and a 2022 fourth-round pick.

The Western Bulldogs traded Patrick Lipinski to Collingwood, in exchange for pick 43.

The Sydney Swans traded Jordan Dawson to the Adelaide Crows, in exchange for a 2022 first-round pick.

The Geelong Cats traded Darcy Fort, alongside pick 41, to the Brisbane Lions, in exchange for pick 50 and a 2022 third-round pick.

Hawthorn traded Jonathon Ceglar, alongside a 2022 fourth-round pick, to the Geelong Cats, in exchange for a 2022 third-round pick.

The Geelong Cats traded Jordan Clark, alongside a 2022 fourth-round pick, to Fremantle, in exchange for pick 22 and a 2022 third-round pick.

Port Adelaide traded Peter Ladhams, alongside pick 16, to the Sydney Swans, in exchange for pick 12 and a 2022 third-round pick.

Collingwood traded Max Lynch, alongside 2022 third- and fourth-round picks, to Hawthorn, in exchange for two 2022 third-round picks.

Post-deadline draft pick trades
Collingwood traded pick 27 to Richmond, in exchange for picks 38, 40 and a 2022 third-round pick.
