Show Preview

Adelaide are out to get their finals push back on track when they take on GWS at home, with victory to guarantee them a place in the eight at the end of the round. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:40pm (AEST).

The Crows are currently sitting in 10th place on the ladder, just one win outside of the top eight. They will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Essendon last week, in which they kicked the last three goals of the game but were unable to get the win.

GWS are currently in ninth place, but they have won four of their last five games and are in good form. They will be looking to continue their winning streak and keep their finals hopes alive.

The Giants will come into this one with a couple of key plays missing with Nick Haynes suspended and Tom Green being replaced in the starting side by Jacob Wehr.

The Crows have been blessed with the form of Taylor Walker this year. He has kicked 48 goals for the year so far and is edging closer to a career best year. He will be wanting to take advantage of an emerging Giants defence, lead by Sam Taylor.

Stephen Coniglio has been the star of the show over the last few weeks and he will look to continue his special form tonight. His presence has been felt all across the ground and when he isn’t racking up touches in the midfield, he drifts forward and steals a goal.

Overall, this is a match that is too close to call. Both teams are in good form and have the potential to win. It should be a thrilling contest that is sure to entertain the Adelaide crowd.

I predict that this match will be a close contest, but I think the Crows will just edge it by a few points.
