No Bolton’s execution let him down this year. Not as consistent as Dusty. Taranto wins the Jack Dyer medal, Dusty runner up, Bolton 3rd. Better
Season than 2020 by Dusty. Considering he had 9 games last year and missed a couple with injury this year, probably should have got a spot in the bench.

The Roar's predicted AFL All-Australian team: Dusty must make the cut... but who should be left out for him?

We all love Dusty! 😛 Only Petracca and Toby. He gets a bench spot. 👍

Good player although he didn’t have much of a game against the Tigs. I noticed Trezise and Brown, the first gamers had more of the pill, which augers well for the future Tiger defence!

You picked it, Cats too old and slow, not enough running forwards who could go through the midfield. Even Tigers beat them! Reality is if you had a crunch game, Dusty would be one of the first picked, even if he is coming off the bench. People forget injuries and time off footy last year. It took him 9 games in to get back into his groove. Actually had a better year than 2020.

The thing is, it’s the score involvements, contested possessions and the amount of goals he actually gives away. All you have to do is watch Jack and Cotch’s last game to see what he does. He sets up as many as he scores.

How did Fyfe go this year?

Wrong, I was there in 2017. Houli was great up to half time. Dusty turned the game on its head. Over 20 contested poss. When he goaled one on one in the 2nd, the roof lifted off the G. Greenberg calls it he’s greatest goal, and he’s seen more games of footy than you had hot meals. He inspired not only the crowd but the team to victory. You wouldn’t know the impact if you weren’t in the stands.

Doc and Priddis your embarrassing yourselves.
Cripps 2022
Fyffe 2019
Fyfe 2015
Priddis 2014
Ablett 2013

You blokes can find another 5

Seriously! That’s 5 in the last 10 years!
Need I say it – Dusty does Danger!

Sunny, I must be on my Pat Malone but I reckon Dimma has perfect timing. GC is growing like crazy with all the Victorians moving up. ( D Andrews not a great salesman. ) No wonder the Allies won the U18 comp. He gets 3 guns for next year. Tigers won 3 Premierships with 3 guns. Definitely finals bound and watch the membership grow.

Dimma the Sun: Gold Coast unveil triple-premiership Tiger as new coach

Shocking on a Friday night! There are not many but AFL should ban Friday night games on the Gold Coast!

Dimma the Sun: Gold Coast unveil triple-premiership Tiger as new coach

Great send off for two champs! How good is it to see one club players shown the respect to retire with dignity after being totally dedicated and giving up so much for the club. Hopefully North can learn form that as they gave Ziebell an honourable send off, unlike what happened with B Harvey! All the best for Cotch and Jack for the future. 👍

Cotchin and Riewoldt tribute concert bookends Tigers fairytale

Yep and were competitive in his 3rd year, played finals 4,5,6th year. Dimma walks in with a top 5 pick and 3 gun academy kids to sign up. Nothing expected in the first 2 years. Gets a suntan, great pre retirement gig!

Exactly and back onto sport – great to see the two Tiger legends go out winners. Fantastic day of celebration for some of the AFL’s best. The Tiger Era (10 year B Gale plan) Produced 4 300 game players, Brownlow, Coleman, NormSmith medalists as well as plenty of All Australians and 3 Premierships. Cotch and Jack came as babies and left as legends.
From all Tiger fans we celebrate the great journey they took us on. The redemption of many years in the wilderness to AFL Titans! All the best Cotch and Jack! 👍

'Don't be sad it's over, be happy it happened': 2023 retiring crop is one of the best ever - and the most emotional yet

For a Freo fan – very recent, 2020. Just to remind you, 3 in the past decade. 🥊

AFL News: Hinkley locked in at last, Riewoldt the retiring type, hobbled Hawks star's career in limbo

Definitely the Dees window. They have a great list with the Blues and Lions.

TOM MORRIS: Who your club is eyeing in this year's Trade Period... and how the Eagles will use their prized pick 1

True, funny he was overlooked by North, too short and not athletic enough. How many players did we pick up that weren’t wanted by other teams? You could pick a dozen – The Dirty Dozen! That’s why the Tiger run of Premierships is one of the greatest in the AFL era. 👍

AFL News: Hinkley locked in at last, Riewoldt the retiring type, hobbled Hawks star's career in limbo

Sure did, squeezed the last drop out of the lemon and chose the right time to retire. Came to the club when we were no where and left an absolute champion!

Thanks for the memories Cotch! 👍 300 games, 3 Premierships, All Australian and Brownlow. Some great photos going around with a young Jack, Shedda and Dusty. Came as teenagers to a washed up outfit and all left as legends of a proud traditional club!

AFL News: Triple-flag captain, reigning Norm Smith Medallist call time, Matildas fever hits the AFL

Yes and the best two AFL Captains ever!

AFL News: Triple-flag captain, reigning Norm Smith Medallist call time, Matildas fever hits the AFL

Every year the same debate. He’s staying at Richmond. Everyone says he’s dusted but still averaging 20 plus possessions and a goal a game. I only think Petracca is the only other player with those numbers. But that’s average for Dusty! Got another 3 years left in him.

Would Dusty be the perfect fit for the Giants?

Ah not from randoms during the game. Maybe from family post the game!

'Players should never, ever be touched': Tigers slam fan incident with Marlion Pickett, AFL to investigate

Tim, it wouldn’t matter if the Tigs got up and beat the Dogs. They may have made the 8 but would never be a threat without Lynch. Plenty of youngsters played with 6 boys having played 30 games or less taking the field. Banks and Young played down back. Bauer, Coulthard up forward. All first year players. Loss was no where near as bad as the round 22, 2016 game against the Swans, beaten by 113 pts, or the 2017 loss to the Saints. What happened after that?

Footy Fix: The Tigers just killed their season with 2023's most putrid quarter - and it spells doom for McQualter too

No talk about Eagles causing damage, even the next season after their Premiership – hmm.

People who say they have no idea of the Richmond list. In his first season Taranto wins the Tigers B & F, which hasn’t been done since Stewart who also won the 72 Brownlow. He’ll also finish top 10 in the Brownlow. We probably paid 100k over for Hopper but got Taranto for 100k less. They fit fantastically in our age profile. Lynch and Gibcus come back fresh next year and we have a new forward line. Brown and Trezise keep developing for our backline depth. We didn’t need any further youngsters we had 6 play with less than 30 games last night. Richmond recruiters have the score on the board with 3 Premierships in the last 6 years.

RIP Van Winkle/Col, put your cardigan, pipe and Football Life magazine away from 1991 and just Google new Punt Rd upgrade. Tigers have $6m in the bank and over 100k spectators and going no where. 👍
