We all get enough of the opinions I don’t agree with – News Corp, all the commercial stations, and increasingly the ABC.

This is certainly my favourite line of yours – There is virtually nowhere we can go now without being confronted with political ranting of one type or another generally slanted in the one direction, which ignores up to 50% of the population.

We all know where the vast majority of the ranting comes from.
Seems you are suggesting everyone is a woke lunatic. Thank God – I’ll be able to sleep tonight.

'Don't be sad it's over, be happy it happened': 2023 retiring crop is one of the best ever - and the most emotional yet

Indeed – how dare sports people use the platform they are afforded for a very short time to try to make the country a better place. I for one find it virtually impossible to enjoy sports when any of the participants have the nerve to express a political view.
Jesus wept – If you don’t agree with them just focus on the game.

No doubt your missus is glad your fingers do most of the talking.

AFL News: 'Unsubstantiated, outrageous' - Demons blast Goodwin accusations, Pies torn apart by injuries, Crows stalwart retires

Got a challenge for you two:

Macca – don’t comment on Collingwood for the rest of the year. Just focus all your energy on Carlton.

Pete – same for you with Carlton comments and focusing on the Pies.

We could all do with the peace and quiet….

AFL News: 'Unsubstantiated, outrageous' - Demons blast Goodwin accusations, Pies torn apart by injuries, Crows stalwart retires

Two points –
1. Yes the AFL are very aware of looming lawsuits for players who have ended up with mental health issues due to concussions, possibly due to a lack of care from clubs and the AFL. Please check the cases of domestic abuse and other issues suffered by American gridiron players with proven head trauma injuries.
2. It’s the right thing to do to protect the head of players and put their long term health (and their families, friends, etc) ahead of short term gain to win a game of football.
Not sure how anyone can argue otherwise. Please watch the Mario Fenech special (RL) if you haven’t yet seen it.

AFL News: Cats star attacked in pub, Daicos brothers ink new deals, Port concussion dramas deepen, King to make early return?

Hi Rowdy,
Your comments are usually spot on and often very funny, but not sure where you are going with this one. Are you saying the AFL and other sports are being to precious around head knocks and concussion?

AFL News: Cats star attacked in pub, Daicos brothers ink new deals, Port concussion dramas deepen, King to make early return?

As per the ladder….

They've faded too far in 2023 - where to now for Geelong?

The Bazball cult in fact is very like the Trump cult in the USA.
Maintain you are right in the face of all evidence, never question your actions or tactics, and have morons cheer for more no matter the previous outcomes.

If you don't worship Bazball then you know nothing about cricket - just ask anyone from England's deluded cult

James Aish is like Libba the same as I’m like George Clooney.
Best compared in a very dark room with no touching allowed.

Polish up your big screens, because a classic round of AFL footy is coming

Good to hear – thanks Don.

Six Points: Why Ashcroft should still win Rising Star, and a message for Collingwood fans

100% correct.
Pies should also spend time and money finding out who these people are and ban them from both membership and attending Pies games.
Despicable cowards the lot of them.

Six Points: Why Ashcroft should still win Rising Star, and a message for Collingwood fans

Don – You must spend a bit on chiro costs with that massive chip on your shoulder.

Cummins would have bowled the 3 front line quicks even if they were from WA.
You are correct in saying both Marsh and Green should be bowled more.

To suggest they are not being bowled because they are not from NSW is ridiculous, and classic Don.

Aussies adopt defensive mindset after making changes for fourth Test - but Warner gets stay of execution

— COMMENT DELETED —

Nick Daicos is completely and utterly bonkers... but where does he sit among the greatest 20-year-olds ever?

Lighten up mate – the last part was a joke.
Also, say hi to your wife for me.

The Suns botch another coaching exit after hanging Stuart Dew out to dry

You are missing the point Macca.
The point was that it’s a bit rich for you to be accusing the Suns of being a shambles when your own club has been a dumpster fire pretty much since the Suns joined the comp.
On the second point, yes guilty as charged. Turning the topic to the Blues gives us Pies supporters a warm fuzzy feeling.
Whenever I’m having a bad day I think of Carlton and before you know it I’m smiling again.

The Suns botch another coaching exit after hanging Stuart Dew out to dry

Pretty rich coming from a Carlton supporter Macca. The Suns could only dream of having your money, history, facilities, and supporter base.

This comment (added to most of your articles for the past few years) proves beyond doubt that you are either short sighted, not very intelligent, or a troll. Just sit down for a while and think as hard as you can Cameron. Then read your first line again.

How about a maximum of 1 positive piece per player per month – across all media.
There are hundreds of other players that deserve positive attention too.

Nick Daicos is completely and utterly bonkers... but where does he sit among the greatest 20-year-olds ever?

As if the Aussie selectors would do something so crazy.
They’ll find a reason to keep Warner in the team.

Maxwell smart left-field option worth considering for a spin if Aussies want to strengthen lower order all round

You completely missed the point.
The fawning over Daicos is way too much, and highly unlikely to be doing Nick any favors in the long run.

Nick Daicos is completely and utterly bonkers... but where does he sit among the greatest 20-year-olds ever?

Marsh –
Khawaja –
Marnus –
Smith –
Head –
Green –
Carey –
Neser –
Starc –
Cummins –
Murphy/Hazlewood –
Roar doesn’t add carriage returns for some reason….

Flem’s Verdict: No momentum change after narrow loss but Warner on last chance and Aussies need Wood plan

I’m a Pies supporter and even I am getting sick of the attention and idolizing of Nick Daicos.
Just let the kid play footy and enjoy it.

Nick Daicos is completely and utterly bonkers... but where does he sit among the greatest 20-year-olds ever?

But not as good as a Root with a Broad.

UK View: Aussies suffer ‘poetic justice’ for Bairstow incident as England deliver huge ‘psychological blow’

If you think Moore is an over rated spud then you know very little about football.

Footy Fix: Forget Darcy Moore - THIS is the real star of Collingwood's electric back six

To be fair the poms used to run the world.
Now they are a relatively inconsequential country that has literally destroyed their economy and future through terrible political decisions brought about by a bunch of Eton and Oxford educated chancers like Boris.
And on a cultish crusade to save test cricket they are being beaten by the upstart natives who clearly haven’t read the script.
It’s easy to understand why they are gnashing and wailing about this Bairstow example of further English arrogance and incompetence.
Their world is falling down around them. Have some sympathy for the poor dears.
