Saw Mato and she was impressive. I’ve been underrating the Titans I suspect. They definitely deserve their spot in the top 4.
Overall been really impressed with the quality of the nrlw this season. Should be a cracking finals series.

Lack of care factor over NRL minor premiership is embarrassing but almost impossible to solve perennial problem
Apparently he totally changed his off field approach, diet, no grog and so forth. He’s always been a big frame but now he’s injuryfree. Some of those runs when he winds up are immense!

Love the references. I challenge you to work some Encino Man, Big Man on Campus or Princess Bride in there.

That would be a forfeit in tennis
Celebrating Chook piffs ball straight into security guard, cops almighty death stare
Super proud of the Chooks. Solid across the park and spark from Sam Walker and Billy Smith were the difference.
Commiserations to Bunnies fans. You were my tip for the title at the start of the season. The core of the side is there although Ilias has faded badly this year. Second year syndrome?
Now to cheer on the Panthers and Sharks to ensure the Roosters don’t get overtaken…

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions Round 27: Jostling for position, resting the weary, trying to survive, playing for pride
Burton to 7 was a puzzler. As was Keary to 7 for the chooks.
Bulldogs need more than a few good men but the truth is club's had years to get a handle on mess they created
I’ll admit I haven’t watched many Dogs games this year, but what I have seen there doesn’t seem to be a coherent style of play. We know the Bunnies will toss it around and try to score from everywhere. The Roosters will camp on their own goal line conceding set after set. The Panthers will rely on line speed and Yeo as distributor. The Raiders will grind and tackle and niggle and then hope Fogarty hits the post with a grubber. Eels will offload. Knights will get in position for Ponga to come on a sweep play. The Cowboys will chuck it to Drinky and hope for the best.
What do the Dogs do? Five then a Burton bomb? I’m not trying to be snarky – i just can’t figure what game plan Ciraldo is aiming for.

I’d rather the Roosters sneak into 8th than not. Even if they get towelled up in week 1
NRL Week 1 finals match-ups: Playoff fixtures LOCKED IN
NRLW games will be much more interesting than the bulk of NRL games this week.
I’m eating my words about the Broncos being Brigginshaw or nothing. Broughton is class and the outside backs are looking ominous, especially Hufunga as you say. I wouldn’t want to tackle her.
Not sold on the Titans and would be tipping Wests but no Tonegato and potentially no Apps??? Gold Coast to get that one.
Roosters to stay on top and Knights to do just enough over the Raiders. And how many tries will Berry score against a NQ that lets in so many???
NRLW Round 7 Preview: Time to get proactive with tickets so more fans can see what all the fuss is about
It’s a bit Lord of the Flies in some respects. “Here Piggy, Piggy…”
‘What the f--- was that?’ Teammates shocked over wrestling punishment but Gus backs Ciraldo’s hardline approach
Setting standards is fine. Consequences for not meeting those standards is fine. How you enforce that is the issue.
This approach from Ciraldo looks like public humiliation in front of your teammates as an approach. And it clearly hasn’t delivered the results as the player is out the door.
How do other coaches handle things like this?
Greg Marzhew and Bradman Best have both been dropped from first grade by Adam O’Brien for being late for a bus. And look – they are both carving it up now.
A quick Google search hasn’t turned up many more instances, unless you go back to the Warriors dumping 6 players to reggies for failing to meet team standards.
Surely that seems a better approach: “Listen son. You keep turning up late and that’s not the way we do things. Until you’re consistently turning up and showing you are meeting our standards I’m not considering you for first grade. And if you aren’t happy to meet these standards then we need to talk about whether you have a future at this club”.

Not gnashing or wringing anything, but won’t bother watching the bulk of these games either.
NRL week 27 preview talking points: Although we've come to the end of the road… still, I can't let go
Terrible news for Josh Papalii. Hope he recovers well.
Round 27 Team Lists Late Mail: Manu hamstrung, long list of stars resting, Papa's year over, Ponga races clock for finals
Everyone is going off way too early. Mitchell or not, the opposition this weekend is a Roosters that traditionally don’t play well without JWH and will be without Manu. South’s have their outs too but they always lift for these games and as many many Bunnies supporters keep reminding everyone, in the corresponding game last year towelled up the Chooks massively.
You’d be mad to write the Bunnies off before the final whistle.
Rabbitohs on verge of unwanted history after historic collapse from top spot to possibly finishing as also-rans
Berry’s first try was just a thing of beauty. Stepping players that I’m sure she only sensed rather than saw.
It looks a race in three for mine. Roosters look complete across the park with no weaknesses. Knights will be hard to beat if Southwell keeps running the show as she has – absolutely has the ball on a string. And Broncos are brutal on their day – they would have plenty of teams above them nervous. I’m not sold on the Titans but they keep winning (just).
I think the Raiders have over performed but wouldn’t be surprised to see them drop out of the top 4 next weekend.
NRLW Round 6: Ali broken but unbowed as Broncos roll Raiders, Titans negate Teagan's four-try haul, Parra off the mark
Yeah – I’ve stopped going on the Roar when the roosters are playing – I lose perspective.

Geoff I respect the way you support your team but are also level headed. 👍

At the time he signed in the preseason Roosters weee being talked up as premiership likelys and the Knights were not in the conversation. At the time it probably looked like his best option for finals footy. Obviously not the best choice now.
