Either the Sharks Defence is good or there attack is on song – it is a rare game where both are high quality.Defence won that game, there Attack was too conservative and clunky at times.They have been deeply scarred by last years Final loss to the Cows.Let’s hope they find there mojo next Saturday.

Settle Gretel. Every one IS saying Pennies are vulnerable.However they do struggle against Parra for some reason.I’ll be more concerned after next week’s Cows game if they don’t respond.Cows will probably play like Parra ,with nothing to prove and season on the line.

Albo a useful comparative would be Nico .He was blocked by Hughes ,Munster an Pappy for a Spine Position,and valued/sold as a good utility with potential.Once he lived up to that potential he was quickly upgraded.He still had to earn and play out to that potential.Burton was a similar scenario at the Panthers.Has he lived up to his potential? Maybe not, but he is playing in a Spoon Contender Team – that muddies the waters

NA you may be right.IMO South’s don’t have the Forward grunt upfront and the depth and speedy backrowers(a few exceptions).Consistently this season Cookie makes a break and there’s no one their to pass too.

JD’s trajectory is starting to parrellel Seibs at the Ponies a few years back.Maybe JD will end up at the Eagles in the future after Seibs crashes an burns.Then again they may take on Hook as a consultant

Well you learn something new every day.Here I’ve always been thinking a ball is dead as soon as it hits the Ref.However GA has just added another level of inconsistency , for the Refs to adjudicate on that ball touching them will influence the subsequent play.

Stevie things must be crook at Redfern if your piling on the anti Trell wagon.We can all see a plethora of problems with the Bunnies – but we/ they need solutions. I don’t think sacking the assistant coaches is gunna help.its like taking a panadol for a broken arm

“it’s OK cause theirs no rule against it” Well I don’t buy this logic.There’s hundred things that may occur on or near a RL field – that are not in the rule book.It comes under the rule of Common Sense – flipping a player on his head in mid air – is not specially written as a rule .It’s called dangerous/reckless contact and the Refs have a duty of care to the players to discourage this Behaviour

A common denominator in the Trell soap opera is an NRL team cannot afford to carry a “Rocks or Diamonds” spine player .The sooner the penny drops at the Bunnies Brains Trust the better.They either switch him back to Centre or offload him .It’s a similar scenario at Manly with Schuster. It looks like Manly are prepared to bite the bullet .
