I do know this Rellum. Make the top 4 and it’s never a year early. Getting to he top 4 is a hard road.
Next year who knows . Walsh does an ACL. Pat or Hess go down. Your form evaporates.
Finish 5th and you don’t even have a show.
Win on Friday and you are live chance . Do the free world a big favour and beat those execrable , supercilious purple illiwhackers.

I am really pleased has made the Panthers Warriors game at 4.00 on Saturday. Kiwi fans in NZ especially kids deserve to be able to watch this.

I agree with that BG . I have seen some stuff from the Broncs I really like. Kevie was a innovator when he played and he has started getting the Broncs to do similar stuff recently.
The problem is getting past Melbourne. Storm are weak in the middle especially if you keep hitting it. They will go with you for 20 mins then fold. Totally different to Penrith. Broncs need to be good enough to play 2 different styles .
If they go all Bazz Ball against Melbourne it will not end well.

What do you think happened with Luke.? I thought at one stage he was going to develop into another Api but his delivery from dh is ordinary and stifles the Panthers attack especially with good ball.
Sommerton has a better pass but likealot of young nines he gets white line fever . If he starts thinking ‘ wait for the opportunity to run’ I think he will be pretty good.

I only saw the Titans match on the weekend. Check out Mato if you get a chance. She might be the Glenn Lazerus of the NRLW.
I do think you guys are the deserved favs and I think it will be the Knights ost likely to get you.

That’s fair but he is the understudy and he’s been great for the Shqrks since Kennedy went down.
Not too many teams would have a backup FB as good as him.

We agree again Mike . Play set to set footy with Penrith and you will follow the Cows straight out of the comp. Swing for the fences.
Penrith have weaknesses though. The compressed D line is susceptible to the early shift. Melbourne have exploited this at times.
Their wingers are short and are susceptible to the leaping tall guy. Plus they allow way too many offloads against teams that are good at it. ( yes Parra , and Melbourne).
What they do though is cover all of those with the best ‘scramble ‘ D I have ever seen. Its
manic but programmed at the same time.
Offloads , high kicks to the corner , early shifts will all work but actually getting the bloody ball down over the line is still nigh impossible.
Have a look at their against record . It’s unbelievable.
It’s Penriths GF to lose but teams that play conservatively are handing it to them on a plate.

It wasn’t the greatest of years for the Cows. I had us finishing 6 at the start of the year so missing finals is disappointing.
Our start to the year was awful and even though we had a great run midseason we couldn’t make up for it.
Our team certainly has deficiencies and I’ve made my thoughts on that clear but I would like to thank all the players and coaches for giving me another engrossing season of footy.
It’s a tough, tough game that we support and it never ceases to amaze me.

Totally agree. I just can’t work out why South’s didn’t change things up. Everyone jammed in on Walker , surely South’s knew the Rooster would do the same.

Total agreement. They exist and should be called out loudly.
But if you think the round ball game has none of these ‘ creatures’ then you have been living in the dark ,if not under a rock. Some of the things said about Kerr at the last world cup ( referencing her sexuality ) were appalling and I cannot even write some of the comments about Ellie Carpenter because my reply would be deleted.
Add in a lovely Spanish man who thinks French Kissing a player after a win is ‘ normal ‘ behaviour and perhaps it’s not as Kumbaya as you seem to think.

Well not many workplaces let you be physically assaulted 20 times a game . Not many workplaces would allow a manager to rant and scream at you during a work break .
Not many workplaces allow physical punishment for misbehaviour.
Again, If sport is subject to Normal workplace rules it’s over. It’s not , but it’s getting closer.

Seriously, so ‘ punishing ‘ a player for a misdemeanour can now result in a court case?
Oh he made me wrestle half a dozen players .! The humiliation.
If we start treating sport ( especially RL) like any other workplace it’s over. Let’s all get a computer game.

I think you miss my point.
Broncs get nothing by winning this game if they lose the following week.
Without Walsh the can’t win a GF. Why risk injury ? And risk there is .
My second point is just as valid . You don’t want to show your hand if you are going to play Melbourne two weeks in a row ( very likely but not certain.)
Play Walsh and you are giving Melbourne a free training run . They will learn from it believe me. You may as well invite them for a contact training run.
I have backed Melbourne three times to win the GF at a average price of $9.00 but I sure as hell don’t want to collect. Rest Walsh please.
