wonder if he still has the HK …. i’d kill for a decent one of those now.

Bulldogs need more than a few good men but the truth is club's had years to get a handle on mess they created

wouldn’t “shark baiting” be more likely if B.Xerri gets a game for the doggies against Cronulla … and he gets a bit lippy at his opposition?

i think that constant booing is disgraceful, name a white player who has been subjected to that rubbish.
walker does all the thinking for the team, he’s planning multiple tackles ahead. to criticise because he’s not “involved” in everything is unrealistic. the Cliffy analogue is about right; Wally was the same, he’d be having lots of little rests hanging on the blind side.

Walker responds message to critics over power struggle as Cook warns Latrell may retire early over constant abuse

yeah, someone would have to explain it to me. player A gets picked for NZ, but wait he’s banned, so oh ok we unpick him. as if the NZ coach wouldn’t know his ineligible – but player gets a game off his suspension total anyway. similar if Player B is suspended & injured, coach selects him anyway, but wait he’s banned, so oh ok we unpick him – player gets a game of his total & he was never fit to play anyway. or some-one a bit past it like K.Foran, who in all likelyhood probably wouldn’t be picked. coach does him a favour, selects him, but wait he’s banned, so ok we unpick him – and he gets a game off his total.

NRL judiciary dishes out ELEVEN matches in bans as JWH, Horsburgh pay heavy price for foul play

ok, i get it ….. group hug & and a cuddle – and now back to business, dragons this week specials against the knights. kogarah, last game, potential see-yar-later for Benny; which way you leaning?
also, USA, that’s near Vegas yes? so…. off-shore NRL here we come?

Round 27 Team Lists Late Mail: Manu hamstrung, long list of stars resting, Papa's year over, Ponga races clock for finals

DP Sch, i gotta ask – what the f***k happened with the tipping. the finish line is in sight mate, HOLD FAST !!!!

let’s hope that’s not the way the Cookie crumbles.

bit close for me though DD – i was sweating on that Tiges v Roosters game.

NRL Power Rankings: Top two, bottom six forms up as finals logjam enters last weekend

yes, pathetic isn’t it, like kiddies in the pig-pen. unfortunately, that “sheet” you mentioned seems to be of the “fitted” kind at saints and the doggies with the Tiges in permanent night sweats tangled up in the doona.

cruel, so cruel …. but also somewhat true.

Shoulder injury a downer after perfect Ponga delivers eighth win on the trot to lift Knights past Sharks into fifth spot

i dont know Chop, i thought they looked steady & controlled even when Sharkies were giving it to them. you’ve got players to come back too, but the big thing will be how the Goodknights handle that finals feeling, not a lotta experience there.
Dragons special for last round, gunna burst your bubble for what will (most likely) be B.Hunt’s last game.

Shoulder injury a downer after perfect Ponga delivers eighth win on the trot to lift Knights past Sharks into fifth spot

read my mind Rellum, a cautionary tale for sure. everyone got excited when he had those few scintillating games for Sharkies, but his back-peddling goal line defensive techniques were interesting to say the least.

the doggies would have to be the most disappointing team for this season. although slightly higher than the dragons, no-one expected Saints to be anything but bottom 4, whereas there was optimism for all the new signings & coach at Canterbury. yes, injuries & blah blah, but really that defensive effort is dreadful.

Manly heap more misery on dreadful Bulldogs with DCE's class shining through a bleak 80 minutes

didn’t watch the game but sounds like deja vu’ all over again. saints start well, miss an early opportunity, cop a couple of questionable decisions, run out of puff & in the end receive some platitudes about havin’ a crack.
flicka would probs go well at fullback, but what to do with T.Sloan ? at the moment he’s at Level 2 Duftstar and i cant see Flanagan having too much patience next year if things dont improve.
lastly, why doesn’t M.Suli get more ball, does he hang out with Schuster or something?

ANALYSIS: Metcalf limps out as Warriors seal top four - but are they losing steam despite seven game unbeaten streak?

at least we clearly know which part of Paul’s three long-term planning options Saints are at.

Every NRL club should have a five-year plan but it’s best to keep quiet about the details - remember Parra's 2020 Vision?

probs better than our federal govt 3-year plan…..Year 1: blame the other mob for the “inherited” mess, Year 2: talk up big while promising cash splash about half-baked, p.iss poor policies, Year 3: devote full attention to being re-elected.

broncos were another club, early 90’s when they were smashing everyone and I’d think, geez these guys are just impregnable. from the outside in they just looked like they were run like a blue chip company with players to match.

NRL News: Burgess tipped for top job on NRL return, Knights star in signing tug of war, Youngest player hangs up boots

funny inn’it ?? as a life-long of a chook raffle-run club such as Saints, i was sooo jealous of these tight as, bleedin’ myrtle-and-green band o’ brothers at the famous Rabbitohs. everything at that club seemed so well run. but if they lose next week (couldn’t be set up better could it) to the roosters, there may well be blood on the dancefloor.

TB…please, please ….. can we not talk about 1985, i was having such a nice morning, and then …..

Latrell's career may have already peaked unless he can eradicate momentary lapses of discipline

The Wolfman – what a skyrocket of a career that guy had. D.Gartner was more due to injuries ??

Latrell's career may have already peaked unless he can eradicate momentary lapses of discipline

yes, Nat, can’t have these young fellas out being normal and having a good time. so he went to a concert and had (hopefully) one beer – wow, crises. what would be the reaction if Teddy or Val did that?
C.Graham is one of my fav players, but boy, does he get hammered. he does some tough yards; i read somewhere he’s on painkillers every game for that sternum.

schuster – the new Lazy Davey.

Latrell's career may have already peaked unless he can eradicate momentary lapses of discipline

i’m not a Souths fan but i could watch Mitchell all day when he’s on song. there’s a few things with Mitchell that will always have the focus on him. he’s indigenous, and (rightly) proudly so; he’s mercurial and expected to win a game on his own; he’s not afraid to speak his mind, as if having an opinion is a bad thing.
he’s polarising – does he fan the flames, yes probably. does he deserve the pile on and the booing – a resounding no.

Latrell's career may have already peaked unless he can eradicate momentary lapses of discipline

i reckon the first thing that L.Brooks will put on his new BBQ is his Tiges jumper and photos of his 37 coaches he’s had. probably can’t wait to get outta there.
