To be honest the Panthers deserved the stadium that NSW taxpayers funded for Parramatta. I’ve never understood why, with an 80,000 seat stadium at nearby Homebush that the millions were directed there… couldn’t have anything to do with it being a swinging electorate

I agree with much of what ypu say except for our being in a better position than England. They may be extremely flawed tactically. much of thst is down to Eddie, however not talent.. our issue is a lack of talent . We’d struggle to get more than a couple in a squad selected from both teams.

Agree that the Castle/Hasler scenario has more than run its course. As you say there has been sufficient time to get themselves sorted since.

Bulldogs need more than a few good men but the truth is club's had years to get a handle on mess they created

If he’s looking to move, Manly have been after a replacement for Skivvy Matai for a while. Although whilst Seibold is there he may not fit his recruitment strategy of half decent Tigers, nepo kids and over the hill headband wearing props

Only a fool would write off the Panthers going three in a row. To me they are playing on a completely different level to everyone else. It’s really theirs to lose this year.

Let’s be honest, both line ups last night more closely resembled a pre season trial than a game of significance. Having said that it was entertaining. I feel a little sorry for Broncos fans clamouring for a minor premiership though. But I guess that won’t matter if they get in and win the GF.

No great coach is ever available… they have to be persuaded and enticed. No point is saying that this one or the other is contracted and unavailable… money talks and contracts are worthless. Just accepting the results of the past decade is tantamount to accepting that he’s the best of a bad bunch and therefore just keep renewing his contract. Believe me there isn’t a coach running through SEEK waiting for them to place an ad. With the obvious advantages that club has, it should be an easy sell to a prospect that could take them further. If they are prepared for mediocrity then good luck to them.

Arthur is failure on loop. Nothing is going to happen on his watch. The Eels and their long suffering dedicated fans deserve much more out of a club that should do much better.

Can’t argue with the top 4 but the rest? The criticism of England whilst valid could equally be made about us. At lesdt the poms have had one recent win, our blokes have just as many faults and have the added problem of not having any clues on how to win headed by a coach with a messiah complex

Not often you can look at a scoreline like that and feel that it flattered us. How did Eddie get the gig??!! 0-5 now. Did we miss how he left England in such a mess with seriously flawed game plans and inexplicable selections. The RFU are so stupid they even hired the guy he mentored to fix the mess.!!
We did worse, we hired the guru himself.
