Seems as though the all whites aren’t so picky. Needs must eh?
The four players who sum up All Blacks' decline
As a gamble it’s known as a Hail Mary. I read recently that risk is the opposite of trust. That we’re we’re at
Eddie Jones has broken every World Cup convention - it's a high-risk strategy no-one knows will work
What about the touchies?
The world's noticing Australia's football talent - maybe some of our locals should too
One problem seems to be that dollars from TV rights is working against policies to increase crowds at games and FTA. The game needs eyeballs

As a poker player I know too well that you need to train the opposition as to your bluffs, just so they can see through them next time. Lol
'We didn't want to show too much': Is Eddie bluffing in a high stakes game of rugby poker?
Sticky actually said “that wasn’t us out there”.
Has Luke Beveridge made the most of the Western Bulldogs' talent, or is he all smoke and mirrors?
You fellas probably won’t get this, but he both looks like and coaches like Des Hasler. And that’s all you have to say

Recall Wayne Bennett coached England. His argument was we need to keep the game competitive, and he was doing us all a favour. Thanks mate

Mike, you lost me. I get it that we need a better manager because we lost the semi final – you should always blame the manager, I say. However the segue to getting more govt handouts for football I didn’t understand. My view is that if you want to be real then stay away from govt money, it’s both stupid and cursed. Prove me wrong…
It's time for football in Australia to grow up and stop being so naïve
Less fans, more money. However if you weigh the fans then the NFL is ahead
What the EPL?: Angeball spurs Aussie sokkah takeover but $200m Moises has horror Chelsea debut in Hammers loss
Snicko is a good idea. I’ve always thought the bloke on the spot would know better than anyone, unless in this case he was a Souths supporter in drag. I can’t for the life of me figure out why the swans parked the bus, unless they want to appear unthreatening to the other 7
Six Points: The coach killer to end all coach killers, and why score review system will always be imperfect
Yeah but the country fellas would take off their hats if they were indoors and chatting to the media
Eddie was right about one thing in epic spray - the Wallabies must stop being reactive and accepting of mediocrity
What’s with the silly hat? If you look like Barnaby Joyce then that’s how the media will treat you

Yeah, I can see it both ways. Looked like the tackled player dropped into the shoulder. But we’ve seen plenty of other players getting the “no excuses”. Either they’re serious about HIA or not
'Mockery', 'broken game', 'laughing stock': Rugby rages as red card reversal clears Owen Farrell for World Cup
How many coaches, players and wooden spoons do we have to go through before the board takes a good long hard look at itself?

There would be a market for midget goal kickers!
Why an under 85kg Bledisloe Cup could be better than the real thing
Nice idea. However you’d have to think Rugby league would also be pretty interesting at under 85kg. If you took both codes to under 75kg, you’d have touch. You could also limit the team weight to 1275kg, and let them figure out their own distribution of players.

In the Nigerian game the English looked really strong with their penalties at the end. Let’s hope the Matildas can win it in game time this week
The Matildas have united a nation the way no other team can
My coach when I was a youngster was firmly against side foot penalty kicks. Said you give away too much control for too little uncertainty. We simply weren’t allowed to do it. He had also been the Welsh national keeper, so we figured he knew a thing or two.

I have to admire Eddie for having a go. He’s not hedging any bets here, he’s put it all on red 32. As one of the commenters says below, we weren’t a chance of winning the thing anyway with business as usual, so why not give it a shot. And it’s the only way to break the losing culture that we’re all part of: victims of Stockholm syndrome we are. Plus Eddie’s got our attention now. I don’t even mind the reverse engineering of their excuses, aka 2027, in that context.
The Wrap: Is Eddie Jones playing the role of Keyser Soze or Frank Drebin?
Shoulda traded buddy for dusty while they had the opportunity. Buggered it now but. Donkey circuit is all that’s left for the old fellas
