'We didn't want to show too much': Is Eddie bluffing in a high stakes game of rugby poker?

Sheek, the comments are from Tupou. Therefore this is a nonsense comment.

Oh correction. Glad we can provide 2 things to complain about!

Greatest XV: When Ben Tune, who 'embodied everything Aussies admire in a winger,' delivered a perfect, brutal moment

Glad we can always provide something to complain about 👍

This is the most Karen comment of all. We cover the game from all angles at all levels. I can’t be bothered listing any more examples.

There needs to be a media manager for Eddie Jones to ignore when he doesn’t want to end a press conference

Their Olympic Games run 2 years also rated highly. And only a troll would suggest a 4th placed finish at a World Cup was a flop.

RA's 'devastating, no substance' response to Wallaroos shows exactly why rugby is being left behind

How much money did the Matildas generate six years before they rated the house down at their home World Cup? As Mary says there is a big opportunity for growth here and if RA stumble it will end up costing them players, financially and credibility.

'Give yourself upper cuts': Eddie furious at journos after 'worst press conference I've ever had'

Commercial deal

Eddie was right about one thing in epic spray - the Wallabies must stop being reactive and accepting of mediocrity

All due respect, but that’s not going to happen at a 10-minute airport stand up. That is about news and whether you or Eddie like it or not, a coach departing hours before the flight and Quade being pissed off enough not to take his call are news stories.

No reporter worth the job would go to a 10 minute (and the time isn’t set so it could be 5, you just don’t know) and start talking about the intracies of tactics and game plans.

Eddie has been on several podcasts – including ours – where he has been asked about these things in a forum where he has time to explain and extrapolate. He has done some long post match press conferences where those questions have been asked.

But standing in a departures hall with very limited time and a coach who clearly wants to make a point over and over, is not the time or place for nuance.

Just saw some video footage. Can confirm he is the only one not wearing it

'Give yourself upper cuts': Eddie furious at journos after 'worst press conference I've ever had'

That’s a much better approach. The first one would be the last one you ever got to ask him.

But yesterday he wasn’t actually taking questions – he was making a point.

If you’d asked that reasonable one yesterday about how it ‘failed in Pretoria’ he would have jumped right back in with the negativity thang.

Christy asked him what had improved since he arrived – a completely legitimate question giving him the room to make his case – and EJ went off on a tangent.

'Give yourself upper cuts': Eddie furious at journos after 'worst press conference I've ever had'

It’s a cottage sport that has disproportional resources and attention from a small group of weirdos in the media.

I resemble that remark!

All of those questions are negative, except the one about McReight. Eddie would love you.

Well, we do those stories too. Not sure anywhere else in Australia does
