Not in a world cup, jez, but who could forget that penalty he kicked against the AB’s in Wellington to retain the Bledisloe?Makes the current BC drought even more painful!

Greatest XV: John Eales' World Cup journey from clumsy No.8 to Australian rugby's most iconic moment

Unfortunately you are right,BigGordon.I think these type of trolls actually get satisfaction by being singled out.Just ignore them!

Online trolls Badgering female referees confirm misogyny is well and truly alive in rugby league

I think you have mistaken the criteria,Phil. It states the Greatest World Cup XV,not cup winners XV.If it was only winners then they could have titled it Best Wallaby XV from 1991/1999 World Cups!

Greatest XV: 'Best player I've seen' - Australia's magnificent 7, despised by All Blacks and cherished by Eddie

I think I would rate Smith better than either of them.Good players, but Smith is rated up with McCaw as one of the greatest 7’s.

Ireland should be.The half,Gibson-Park as well.

RWC News: 'Losing three biggest academies' - Eddie's truth bomb for ABs, Poms' 'horrendous' fear

He went pretty close, though! So who would you put ahead of him that did win a world cup?

Greatest XV: 'Best player I've seen' - Australia's magnificent 7, despised by All Blacks and cherished by Eddie

There was really only 2 in the halves contest.I think NFJ was a better half but Gregan did it over a longer period so it is probably fair enough.
Only problem I had with Gregan was that his form tailed off considerably towards the end of his career.

Greatest XV: 'Like reffing in a train station': Sublime skills and scathing sledges sum up Australia's top No.9

Mike,The only problem with Jorgensen dropping out,is I understand you cannot replace a player if he succumbs to an injury carried into the tournament. He would have to fake a different injury and I doubt if that will happen.

'Couldn't blow out a candle': Vunivalu vindicates Eddie's huge call as ex-NRL star finally delivers for Wallabies

Peter, although Hodgson is defence coach, don’t you think Eddie would be having a fair amount of input as well?I know they all have their roles, but I doubt if the head coach would just sit back and say nothing.

Enjoy the opportunity, debutants – I’m not sure how many more there will be as Wallabies enter must-win mode

Brett, you mentioned them but did not give any clue to who you think might be the number one pairing?Kerevi is obviously 12 but 13??

Ikitau hasn’t been named in the Baabaas.

Studs and duds: Eddie's 'wrongheaded' selections, Carter '100 percent a concern', 'weapon' fires at last

I would be surprised if he has been selected as a “project player”.I expect Eddie hopes to play him in a pool game.Surely project players are for normal end of year tours, not for a world cup squad?

Eddie to resist last-minute Wallabies RWC changes despite injury clouds, Samu opens up on axing

No argument there, scrum, but it just highlighted even more Tate’s weakness. You could just as easily compare his pass to Smith or Roigard. The other problem is that White is not that great either.

Wallabies player ratings: Taniela explosive, Marky Mark dynamite - but lineout and midfield fail to ignite

Christy,is that a typo for Kellaway ratings?I thought the back 3 were outstanding for the Wallabies, with Kellaway at least a 7 in comparison to the other 2.You are being a bit generous with Tate as well.He still throws too many wayward passes and playing against Dupont just highlights the huge difference in abilities.

Agree,WhoDis.I liked Harry’s comment that it was like the golf shot where you allow for the draw or the fade but it goes straight.

Studs and duds: Eddie's 'wrongheaded' selections, Carter '100 percent a concern', 'weapon' fires at last

That’s the first time I have heard that.I would think his shoulder injury is what kept him out.I wish he was back in though.

Studs and duds: Eddie's 'wrongheaded' selections, Carter '100 percent a concern', 'weapon' fires at last

Just shows you how much they need Kerevi. Also highlights Wallabies biggest problem(beside having a decent goal kicker),lack of depth in vital positions.I am sure we can put a starting 15 out to compete with most teams, but not having the bench strength is going to hurt us.

You were the one who mentioned his “entire career in gold”.

Yes,I wonder how many teams could cop all the disruptions Parra have had this year and still make the finals?

Thank you,Bluesfan, for adding a bit of common sense to counter these losers who keep knocking guys that have played rugby at the highest level. They have obviously never pulled on a rugby jersey and appreciated what it must take to play international rugby,or even top grade club rugby for that matter.

At least he has had a career in gold, unlike you, champ!

DA2,you answered jez for me!

Greatest XV: Matt Burke's balls of steel and how one word from John O'Neill sent the Wallabies 'nuts'

Mate,do ever have anything positive to say?A comment that is often made – you must be fun at parties!

Yes,jez,as an Eastwood man I loved Marty but you couldn’t go past Burke as the number 1.

Do Ireland worry that Joe Schmidt might be giving some ideas to the AB’s about their players?
I really don’t understand what the fuss is about.Hansen is just another coach in the rugby world.
