They lose but don’t have loser mentality. Yet others had loser mentality. Based on what? Your imagination?
Lol lose in qf? That’s winning mentality. For someone who believes in Eddie you’re selling them short
'It's special': Gordon won't shy away from kicking as Wallabies open up on Gregan's timely RWC advice
Too bad it has nothing to do with Eddie
RWC News: 'Losing three biggest academies' - Eddie's truth bomb for ABs, Poms' 'horrendous' fear
Moffett is right. All the stoppages fishing for penalties and uncontrolled tmo makes game boring. Not that it’s new but it’s getting worse
RWC News: 'Losing three biggest academies' - Eddie's truth bomb for ABs, Poms' 'horrendous' fear
Lol game against France was preparation for 11th ranked Georgia cause they’re similar. Can’t make it up
“You go in with a perception of how you think the team may be and then the players’ talents have really shone through
He sounds like it’s his first time. He went with his low possession idea everyone knew was bs, made players look clueless then found out that it’s important to consider players skills and talents..
'We've got a few out': Slipper set to miss RWC opener as Eddie opens up on 'fascinating experiment' campaign
Thanks for thoughtful reply.
It’s all good in theory to play to your strengths but when you’re on a back foot it’s hard to dictate the rules.
It’s pressure that leads to penalties and set pieces, even ‘unforced’ errors and brain fades can be caused by pressure on mental level.
make the opposition pack run around the park rather than walk from set piece to set piece as the boks were able to do on Saturday.
..The AB’s needed to turn the boks around with snipping from the halfback, kicking from the halfback, and better kicking from 10
You’re right I noticed abs were too structured and it’s exactly how sa prefers. Problem is to play more unstructured rugby your forwards need to up their game, to make sa get into offside not allowing them to set up their defence, it will give backs more time for better decision making/better kicking. It’s a bit chicken and egg thing but ultimately it’s on forwards.
Yeah lack of depth could be a problem but imo your best forward pack has parity against any team
Is it too soon to talk about Cam Roigard?
Yes they don’t cause he changed his mind on low possession plan after 3d game. And he changed the squad a lot. Do your homework
'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France
Yeah inconsequential reffing of two yellows and out of control tmo was bs. And while ref was very good in the wallabies game tmo was equally awful, trying to find infringement without ref request. Seems like there’s no clear hierarchy now. They’re creating a loophole that is easy to exploit to rig the games
Barrett CLEARED for Rugby World Cup opener
Name a strategy that isn’t useless when forwards are bossed around
Is it too soon to talk about Cam Roigard?
Yep he would’ve had a better luck with Portugal
'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France
Dunno I noticed a big difference in score
'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France
Players aren’t bad..they just lack cohesion and don’t know what Eddie wants. Perks of building a team from scratch in WC year I guess
'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France
Depends on what’s your objective. If it’s croissants then no
'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France
Should be a smooth sailing till semis at least
'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France
Trust me we’re improving mate
'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France
Thanks good luck to you too for WC
Hope wallabies and all blacks will meet in the finals 😊
It might be a 'friendly' - but taking on the Boks at Twickenham is still oh so crucial for the All Blacks
Yep. Gotta lose battles to win wars sometimes. Better to be underdog against France than be favourites and have that false sense of security.
Anyway maybe I’m wrong. Wish whatever works best for them
It might be a 'friendly' - but taking on the Boks at Twickenham is still oh so crucial for the All Blacks
Yeah JD, leopards never change their spots. He can make a team buy into his vision only for initial period. But as you said it yourself it’s a very exhausting environment and he can’t keep the players motivation up for long.
Btw thanks for the article. Was an interesting read as always 👍
Eddie's risking everything to grow a new Wallabies golden generation
They’re doing it at their peril 😛
'Jeepers, surely we've got a better topic?' The Steve Hansen question that bemused Fozzie ahead of ABs-Boks showdown
Ugh talking big again. Why do they do it to themselves?
'Didn't come here just to take part': Wallabies out for World Cup shock in France - Foketi
Eddie isn’t risking anything to raise golden generation. He’s just going all in for this WC. He’s famous for short term success not long term. Can’t imagine him missing the opportunity with draw like that. They train like crazy for this WC not 2027.
I still expect him to leave after this year
Eddie's risking everything to grow a new Wallabies golden generation
Alright I still think it’s crazy they play full strength and it’s unfriendly just wish both teams not picking up injuries or cards. Gl
RWC News: England suffer another blow ahead of opener, Kolisi says ABs clash 'not a friendly, never has been'
I think it’s better for the ab to lose
It might be a 'friendly' - but taking on the Boks at Twickenham is still oh so crucial for the All Blacks
I thought the last thing they want is cards and injuries ahead of the game against france.
I think their team is well drilled to pick up from where they left off month ago.
Still think they shouldn’t have gone all in but I agree partly it’s their difficult WC schedule that’s the problem
RWC News: ABs name strong team for Boks clash, Vunipola banned, journo rings alarm bells over key Wallabies
Yep new captain is so smart
