and his preference to call in players to camps – just to have a look made it a big issue between RFU and the gallagher clubs. particularly when players got injured in camps wrestling !!!

Fiji brought 3 very good 13s – Radrandra Naclayevu and Masi , but not so good 10 or 15.
Muntz is ok but lacks the experience of Volvo!!!

its difficult to keep up with all their wings and centers – perhaps thats the issue coaches have also – to stick with a set for more than 2 games 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Cane has changed a lot over the years – think he had a Jordaneque strike rate during early years.

IMHO its the Cane Savea combo that is the issue – coz Savea is not the type of 8 other teams have

add to that NZ have no proper 6 like other teams bar Frizell – Jacobson Papalii are just heavier 7s.

Boks France can put out huge 3rd rows. both height n weight, NZ cant match that atm.

best for NZ to think that the absolute rubbish is now done – things can only get better

one of the biggest issues will be to get used to different refs – from now till WC the whole team needs to have a look at matches reffed by the refs they will encounter

Peyper they know but guys like Carley Dickson Pearce et al ….

its not just that – the positional plays also affects the NZ team – and for a while now

most surprising part is – the country that gave the world Jonah Lomu wont play a proper big guy on the wing !!! 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

issue with Barrett Ioane combo is – both wanna rush up and make a hit.

Jb thinks of his size and Ri thinks of his speed.

together they will never be a great combo like Nonu Smith or Little Bunce.

unfortunately goodhue is always injured and has lost more than a couple of yards in pace.

tho ALB is not in the same class as a defender at 13 – NZ shud put Ioane on wing and ALB at center. it cant get any worse than present IMHO!! 😂 😛 😂

2 selections jumped out – Papalii and Clarke !!

and to a certain extent jacobson

for a few years now NZ have not had a proper 6 – that is comparable to opposition

for a few years ( and in boks case a lot of years ) teams have been selecting that hybrid 5/6 – a tall guy who can be a genuine 2nd rower as blindside flank.

SA Argies England Aussy – even Ireland – used 2nd rowers as blindsides. rance just went with big 8s more often than not for 3rd row.

NZ too tried it with barrett – but then he is not an athletic 6. t could not find anyone else – for lack of options. Sowakula could have been but was not pursued.

Papalii Jacobson Blackadder are all good – but not in the same caliber at 6 as their competition. closest match was Frizell and without him became clear what they miss.

perhaps professional players shud watch refs in action more often.

one of trademark actions or Carley is repetitive yellows close together.

SH teams are used to fouling after a yellow has been given team fouls – since SH refs let them continue again starting form zero – not so carley and Dickson and Paerce. get on the program boys

Goodhue is the best defensive centr in NZ – why will u put him at 12? it will be another mistake like slotting Jordan on wing – when he cant attack like he does from 15.

look at Fiji – just to have their skipper at 13 , they slotted perhaps the best 13 in the world Radranda to 12 – hasnt done anything sinnce !!!!

yes their frrow is kind of slow but make up for it with power at scrums and ball carrying – with some seriously athletic 2nd rowers and 3rd rowers

seems all their injured players were just faking it – Kolise came back in a couple of months others usually take a year to recover from

Am and Pollyrd couple of weeks ago were suposed to miss the world cup – lo and behold now its said they are in peak fitness and ready to rock !!!

seems not only disciplinary procedures – but reffing in general is stricter towards the 2nd tier

nah – Fiji have issues despite the flair.

1 – they have no and proper 2nd rowers with experience after Ratuniyarawa left. 2 who played France are from Drua

2 – they have no experienced 10 – as volvo was left at home !!!! not sure why they did it but both Muntz and Tela were just passing in Drua!!!

3 – they have no proper 15 !!!

4 – their best and perhaps the best 13 in the world Semi Radranda plays 12 to accommodate the captain. Semi is good but not so good at 12.

5 – in general they are great off broken play and 7s style attacking – but not so good with structured play for long time. after a few phases and slow build up – the instincts of crazy 7s kick in and often leads to turnover ball….

they can scare a lot of teams but dont think they can roll over top teams with these frailties.

not winning anything significant during the last few years.

when u earn nearly gbp 100 mio a year – and have like 500 good players to choose from – with arguably the best training facilities in the world – one will expect some trophies in the cabinet

not forgetting the constant bickering between eddie jones and the gallagher clubs over player management

got to wonder their expertise to sit and decide on these cases – with a handful of caps between them !!!

maybe the suits can simplify the laws – a tackle requires both arms and any tucked arm is a penalty.

there seems to be a lot of arguements that he attempted o tackle – but was put off by the other player.

simply put – he did not attempt to tackle — he always had one arm tucked!!!! 🤢 🤢 🤢 🤢
