Seeing these two together in the engine room of a forward pack would have been impressive. We have a few good options in lock but these two stand above all in my view.

Nobody.

If Pone is fit I would only be playing each for a half to manage their work load.

I don’t rate Biggar and Farell as actual play makers.

Top 10 playmakers at Rugby World Cup - and why the Wallabies' young gun has the game's toughest gig

The Brumbies have also managed to bring in big name coaches when the wheels fell off the system. The modern Brumbies have a lot to thank White who effectively build the foundations of the modern Brumbies. Recognising the need for such an experienced coach is something the other Oz SR teams should have learnt from already.

Kiss of death for Thorn's assistants with Wallabies walkout Brad Davis joining Reds revolution

Of cause not. Just the Brumbies program does turn rejected players into Wallabies.

Rocky Elsom before he got his hamstring injuries was excellent. I remember the first time I saw him in person and realised how big he actually was.

Greatest XV: 'Everyone yelled Owen Finegan! World Champion! And I drank out of the Cup'

A position that has been rich with talent for us. Really could have picked any of the options. Even Mark Connors comes to mind as well

The Reds program simply has not been good enough for some time now. Qld rugby has this massive untapped talent pool in regional Qld which they are not exploiting. League is dominating Union regionally in Qld and then you have AFL who are very good at getting a ball in the hands of kids.

The Brumbies program is just excellent. It is a no brainer from the talents point of view. The Brumbies program turns rejected players into Wallabies so it is clearly better for your career to be part of the Brumbies program.

Big call. It will be interesting if they can lure players back from the Brumbies development program which just eats up Qld talent.

They did have a variation by changing the first ball receiver while still going out the back…. 😂

Quade, Genie with Digby, strong defending centres and the highest scoring forward in history until this year in your attack system is going to make most attack coaches look good….also Interview with Quade made it fairly clear that the head coach was running the attack system.

The Reds coaching team has been broken for some time now. Hopefully some new people will help revive the Reds as it has been an absolute Trainwreck.

Jim McKay attack system under Thorn has been rubbish and out of date.

Amazed it was that close. George Smith is our best 7 by light years. The guy redesigned what a 7 is.

Greatest XV: 'Best player I've seen' - Australia's magnificent 7, despised by All Blacks and cherished by Eddie

I lean towards NFJ as well. He had a great pass, very good sniping runs and was a really tough guy. His leadership was a real standout to me. But in saying all that, I don’t have any problems with Gregan in the team. Gregan had to extend his career to help buy up all his coffee places 😂

Greatest XV: 'Like reffing in a train station': Sublime skills and scathing sledges sum up Australia's top No.9

I also think the NZ pack struggles a bit when the game gets very physical over speed. I don’t think the ABs can maintain such a high physical game week after week as it is not their natural game. The challenge is taking the speed out of their game.

Packs Power Rankings: Boks' 'bomb squad' edges France, injured Wallaby who Eddie can't replace

Is it just me or over the last few years is it getting harder to work out which pack is more dominant than the next? It is becoming like fighting where styles make matches. SA is a very powerful pack but then suddenly the Wallabies of all teams get it over them randomly. NZ pack is out-pacing teams then suddenly they get beaten into submission. The Wobbly Wallabies pack starts pushing the French pack around…..Argentina is hot and cold as well.

A legend of the game.

Not unhappy with Gregan but surprised he got it over Nick Farr-Jones.

Unfortunately this is what happens when a sport goes professional.
