Cockbain massively underrated he was just awesome. Him, Willie, Finegan, Fardy. we’ve had come fantastic Wallabies 6s

Greatest XV: 'Everyone yelled Owen Finegan! World Champion! And I drank out of the Cup'

Thanks yeah and more free to air. Having said that I think Stan has been very good.

Of course.

Greatest XV: 'Best player I've seen' - Australia's magnificent 7, despised by All Blacks and cherished by Eddie

Very true!

I’m happy with my interpretation. Rather reward the winners!

Good points. Perhaps the criteria should have been clearer! But for me I went with RWC winners.

George is possibly my all time favourite player.
but depends on what we’re picking this on doesn’t it? Perhaps I’m too literal but I think it should be players that have won. Same with Mortlock, it should have been Little in my view as a RWC winner.

Yea I would too. But still didn’t win one!

He sure did, but still didn’t win.
Poidevin or Wilson did.
For me would depend on who gets 6. If not Willie O, then Willie O at 7.

Could not agree more!

George one of my all time favourites but he didn’t win a word cup. I think it should go to those that did win one.

Although surely he’d be in Aus A or Baa Baas if fit enough?

Eddie Jones has broken every World Cup convention - it's a high-risk strategy no-one knows will work

And our best defender Ikitau not selected.

World Cup Top 10 Power Rankings: Wallabies' missing piece, ABs still possess super power, and why France edge Ireland

Thanks. That’s crazy if true. A massive error. One of our best players and best defenders.

Christy is there any update or clarification on Len Ikitau’s non selection? Was he just not considered as he couldn’t recover in time? Or is he recovering well but just not picked?

Defence wins tournaments; Australia must find one, very quickly.
Spot on!

What a legend. Humble, composed, skilful yet fiercely competitive and passionate.
Future Wallabies coach too hopefully.

Mark Ella that’s who!

Good stuff Brett.
I still don’t understand why the Wallabies defensive setup has the openside winger stationed so far infield in defence – and I’ll welcome any explanation.
Nick Bishop would say “it’s the way modern professional defences work Brett”.

Enjoy the opportunity, debutants – I’m not sure how many more there will be as Wallabies enter must-win mode

Not worried about kicking or D with that back 3?

Vunivalu did very well on attack.
But he’s the same mistake Eddie made with Wendell.
The RWC is too soon for him. Like his yellow on Sat, however “unlucky”, his mistakes will bite us.
And it’s too much risk defensively to have both him and MW together. Attack alone won’t win us the world cup!
And we are missing Ikitau massively!

'Couldn't blow out a candle': Vunivalu vindicates Eddie's huge call as ex-NRL star finally delivers for Wallabies

Think voters got this one wrong. Mostly because World Cup winners Little and Herbert deserve it more than him.
Should be Jason Little for me. Outstanding and more skilful.

Ok no worries 👍
