George is possibly my all time favourite player.
but depends on what we’re picking this on doesn’t it? Perhaps I’m too literal but I think it should be players that have won. Same with Mortlock, it should have been Little in my view as a RWC winner.

Poidevin or Wilson did.
For me would depend on who gets 6. If not Willie O, then Willie O at 7.

Christy is there any update or clarification on Len Ikitau’s non selection? Was he just not considered as he couldn’t recover in time? Or is he recovering well but just not picked?

Good stuff Brett.
I still don’t understand why the Wallabies defensive setup has the openside winger stationed so far infield in defence – and I’ll welcome any explanation.
Nick Bishop would say “it’s the way modern professional defences work Brett”.

Vunivalu did very well on attack.
But he’s the same mistake Eddie made with Wendell.
The RWC is too soon for him. Like his yellow on Sat, however “unlucky”, his mistakes will bite us.
And it’s too much risk defensively to have both him and MW together. Attack alone won’t win us the world cup!
And we are missing Ikitau massively!

Think voters got this one wrong. Mostly because World Cup winners Little and Herbert deserve it more than him.
Should be Jason Little for me. Outstanding and more skilful.
