Fresno Chaffee Zoo

The whole family is in for a wild time at Fresno Chaffee Zoo! State-of-the-art exhibits offer extraordinary up-close experiences with animals.

Feed a giraffe- African Adventure, a 13-acre, naturalistic mixed species exhibit features lions, elephants, cheetahs, white rhinos and a giraffe feeding station.

Touch a stingray- Feel stingrays glide beneath your fingertips at Stingray Bay.

Stand nose-to-nose with a sea lion- Watch sea lions loop and twirl underwater at Sea Lion Cove. You’ll be immediately transported to the California Coast with the sound of crashing waves, salty sea air, barking sea lions, harbor seals and beautiful brown pelicans. Become fully immersed in the experience at “Pacific Point View”—the 35-ft underwater viewing window—and take advantage of the splashing photo-op!

• Fresno Chaffee Zoo is open daily.
• Visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Last entry at 4 p.m.)
• The giraffe feeding and entry to Stingray Bay is a separate cost from admission.
• There are two dining options at the Zoo—including Kopje Lodge, with breathtaking views of the African Savannah. Enjoy gourmet entrees such as artisan sandwiches, oven-roasted pizza, fresh salads and more – all while viewing African elephants, rhinos, wildebeest and other African species! The Kopje Lodge also features beer and wine.
